A DISASTER Initially, we were fairly happy with the service provided to us, but then it became very apparent that we were having everyone and anyone thrown at us - there was clearly zero consideration for our search criteria but more a desperate reach from the agency hoping we would take anyone into the family home so that they could claim their commission. We eventually trialled a candidate who appeared promising and after the 1 week's trial was up, we took her on. Within 2 weeks, major issues with her attitude and other members of staff occurred resulting in us terminating her role at the property. Having paid an astonishing fee to the agency, we were bewildered as to how we were not entitled to some kind of reimbursement - 2 weeks of bad housekeeping and extreme working atmosphere disruption resulted in costing us a small fortune - a quite frankly ridiculous sum. Querying this with the agency, we were met with an abrupt answer of 'these are the terms - goodbye'. We have been completely let down by Nanny & Butler and strongly recommend boycotting this company - even if you are in desperate need for household staff - the outcome will inevitably be a bad one. Please do ignore the 1 star rating - there was no option to go into negatives.
